He is survived by: his stepdaughter Rhonda Maas of Ogden; his sons, AJ Schmidt (Cherry) of Hawaii and Julian Schmidt of Ogden; his grandchildren, Cody Schmidt (Julie), Courtney Schmidt, Chad Schmidt and Maverick Taylor (Paris); his great grandchildren, Semaj Taylor and Tatum Schmidt; and his siblings, Kenny Schmidt, Greg Schmidt and Cynthia Gilbert (Paul).
