It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Warren Hugo Claussen (Ogden, Iowa), who passed away on May 4, 2026, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter A Claussen and Erma F Claussen (Porter); his wife Carol Claussen; his daughter-in-law Gwen Claussen; his grandson Nick Claussen; and his brother-in-law Richard Handy.
He is survived by: his children, Deb Kesse (Vic) of Urbandale, IA, Steve Claussen (Linda) of Altoona, IA, Dan Claussen (Diane) of Omaha, NE and Tom Claussen (Melanie) of Birmingham, AL; and his sister Kathryn Handy of Ames, IA. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to Zion Lutheran Church, Ogden, IA or the Ogden Community Scholarship Foundation, Ogden, IA. No flowers please.
