He was predeceased by: his parents, George S. Barner and Gladys Barner (Leinbaugh); and his brother Creighton. He is survived by: his wife Carey Stewart; and his nieces and nephews, Bret Barner (Carol), Bonita Howes (Dan), Brenda Brokens (Eric) and Bart Barner (Laura). He is also survived by ten great-nieces and nephews and a great-great-niece &nephew.
