It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty J. Harms of Onawa, Iowa, who passed away on December 8, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Collett and Ellen Collett (Johansen); her husband Robert Harms; her son Robert James Harms; her siblings, Mary Ping, Joanne Brenden, Dorothy Bearce and Don Collett; her parents-in-law, Levi and Berniece Harms (Dugdale); and her son-in-law Chris Jensen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Beth Harms of Sioux City and Beverly Harms of Onawa, Iowa; her granddaughters, Sarah McCasland of Wardsville, Emily Harms (Shaun Reiff) of Jefferson and Annie Harms of Onawa, Iowa; and her great grandchildren, Leighton, Ryley and Eastyn McCasland. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Goslar Funeral Home Chapel (1629 10th St, Onawa, IA 51040). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
