He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Dawdy and June Dawdy (Green); his brothers, Danny Dawdy (Diane) and Dean Dawdy; and his brothers-in-law, Butch Klemme, Geaorge Gartner and Ed Hyer.
He is survived by: his wife Terri Dawdy of Onawa, Iowa; his children, Tessandra Simpson (Stewart) of Onawa, Tonya Eide (Mark) of Des Moines, Barbie of Arizona and Thomas Dawdy of Sioux City, Iowa; his grandchildren, Emily Repplinger, Alena Dawdy, Serina Dawdy and Christopher Repplinger; his great grandchildren, Kaysin Simpson and Annisia Simpson; and his siblings, Donna Klemme, Deanna Gartner, Debbie Hyer, Denis Plum (Vern), Darla Isom (Julie), Darleen Dawdy, Doug Dawdy (Kathy), Donnie Dawdy, Dawn Bealieu (Tom) and Dixie Carda (Steve). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
