With solemn reverence, we commemorate Gary L. Kendall of Onawa, Iowa, whose life came to an end on June 16, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving behind cherished memories. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie Kendall and Amanda Kendall (Martin); his wife Bonnie Kendall; his parents-in-law, Orville and Susie Rutledge (Gruber); his siblings, Everett Kendall, Robert Kendall and Norma Lander; and his nephews, David Kendall, Brian Kuhlmann and Brad Stender.
He is survived by: his sons, Scott Kendall (Jeannie) of Onawa and Mike Kendall (Amber) of Plattsburg, Missouri; his grandchildren, Joseph Kendall (Amy), Samantha Parr (Jeremy), Michael Kendall (Ashley), Matthew Kendall (Kelsey), Micoulley Kendall (Heather), Eyan Coldren (Taylor), Hailey Holiman (Jordan Harris) and Kaitlyn Holiman; his great grandchildren, Ariana, Riley, Ryan, Rayna, Andrew, Korbin, JaKoby, Kash, Remington, Sawyer and Gavin; and his siblings, Noreen Kuhlmann (Randy) of Mapleton, Iowa and Bennie D. Kendall of Orange, California. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Christian Church (722 15th St, Onawa, IA 51040).
