She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Elmer Steele, Jr. of Centerville and Dena Ellen Steele (Barnes) of Centerville; her husband Terence "Terry" Virtue; and her siblings, Dr. E. Joanne Melody and James L. Steele.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark Virtue (Sandra) of Kirkland and Todd Virtue (Karoline Peralta) of Boston, Massachusetts; her grandchildren, Kamilla Peralta-Virtue, Tamsen Peralta-Virtue, Kaylei Virtue and Kai Virtue; her sister-in-law Diane Steele; and her nieces, Heather Holborn and Kim Tucker. She is also survived by several other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Goslar Funeral Home Chapel (1629 10th St, Onawa, IA 51040). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
