She was predeceased by : her parents, Clarence Graff and Dorothy Graff (Ney); her former life partner Dr. William L. Samson; her parents-in-law, Dr. Archie L. and Kathryn Samson (McLaughlin); her siblings, Renee Donovan and William Graff; her brother-in-law Richard Donovan; and her grandson Benjamin Pudil.

She is survived by : her children, Paula Samson of Onawa, Laura Oliver of Onawa, Michael Samson (Karon) of Houston, Annette Samson (John Jesmok) of Eagan, Patrick Samson (Heather) of Barnhart, John Samson of Boise, Maria Sofranko (John) of Oceanside, Rebecca Perlow (Arno) of St. Louis and Jennifer Samson (Eric Eskelsen) of Manchester, Missouri; her great grandchildren, Kaitlin, Robert Kardaras, Alaina, Gavin, Hailey, Zachary Young, Thomas, Allison Caropreso, Tyler, Ethan Thacker, Mikey Walneuski, Athen, Etta Sampers and Elwood Samson; her brother Steve Graff (Bernie) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and her nephew Steve Donovan. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren.
