With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of JoAnn Lintin of Onawa, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 8, 2025 at the age of 77. She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Thompson and Frances Thompson (Grandgenett); her husband John Lintin; her sisters, Sherry Thompson, Doris Keifer (Darrell), Jean Jump (Jimmy) and Elaine Carlson (Wayne); and her siblings-in-law, Maureen Thompson and Chris Mathison.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tammy Lintin (Charles Hughes) of Panora and Rhonda Johnston (Troy) of Turin, Iowa; her grandchildren, Kisa Deen (Jeremy), Brooke Mutapcic (Emir), Hillary Olson (Donovan), Annissa Johnston (Courtni) and Tyler Johnston; her great grandchildren, Kyler, Tinley Deen, Lili, Aden Mutapcic, Thea and Conrad Wigen; her siblings, Terry Thompson of Clive, Bill Thompson (Carol) of Johnston, Iowa, Virginia Mathison of Turin and Marsha Neldeberg of Fort Collins, Colorado; and her brother-in-law Randy Thompson of Onawa, Iowa. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Christian Church (722 15th St, Onawa, IA 51040). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
