He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Hanner and Frieda Hanner (Peterson); his wife Bonnie Beauchene; his children, Julie Ann, Donald, Lynette and Teri; his brothers, Phil, Delbert and Butch; and his sons-in-law, Marv Hull and David Cackler.
He is survived by: his children, Dorothy Hull of Newton, IA, Larry Hanner of Onawa, IA, Chris Hanner (Mary Beth) of Sioux City, IA and Scott Hanner (Michelle) of Onawa, IA. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel (6200 Morningside Ave, Sioux City, IA 51106). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
