She was predeceased by: her mother Marcella Jane Smith (Weidt); her husband James Tyson; her brother Howard Smith; her father Virgil Smith; and her parents-in-law, John and Vera Tyson (Hittle).
She is survived by: her children, Terry Tyson of Onawa, Debbie Spaulding (Brett) of Onawa and Lisa Funkhouser (Dean) of Onawa, Iowa; her grandchildren, Jessica Johnson (Mike) of Wills Point, Austin Spaulding of Whiting, James Funkhouser (Amanda) of Ute and Jonathan Funkhouser (Skye) of Sioux City, Iowa; her great grandchildren, Gabby, Caeden, Eva, Isreal Johnson of Wills Point, Chevelle, Kodiak Spaulding of Whiting, Taryn, Avery, Brenna, Harper, Kelee Funkhouser of Ute, Scarlet and Myla Funkhouser of Sioux City, Iowa; her brother David Smith (Louise) of Onawa, Iowa; and her sisters-in-law, Jeanette Smith of Castana and Jeanne Polly of Whiting, Iowa. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
