He was predeceased by : his parents, William Hayden and Mary Hayden (Harris); his children, Patricia Feekes, Ella Benson, Teri Heald and Harlan Derby; and his great grandchild Jason Schnee, Jr..

He is survived by : his wife Karen Bremmers; his children, Theodore "Teddy" Hayden, Jr., Ron Hayden (Tami), Linda Schager (Dewey) and Kelli Perkins; and his sisters, Dena Derby and Sherri Simpson (Terry).
