Bill Saeger Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin W. Saeger and Alyda H. Saeger (Hop); his wife Marcia Gayle Van Hill; his siblings-in-law, Norman Van Hill and Cathy Rozenboom; and his great-niece Kaitlin Spelbring.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Saeger of Orange City, Shelly (Jon Meyers) of Olathe, Kansas, Scott Saeger (Christy) of Rock Valley and Tami (Travis De Jong) of Orange City; his grandchildren, Dillan De Jong (Erin), Landon De Jong, Aaron De Jong, Ross Saeger, Katie Saeger, Kelsi Saeger, Savannah Meyers, Zoe Meyers and Isaac Meyers; his grandchildren-in-law, Jackie and Merlin Groen of Rock Rapids; his grandchildren, Holly and Merlin Bylsma of Orange City; and his siblings-in-law, Gilbert (Alina Van Hill) of Smithfield, Virginia and Marsha Van Hill of Sioux Falls. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calvary Christian Reformed Church (709 5th St SE, Orange City, IA 51041). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials will be given to Jon and Gracia's ministry with Cru.
