She was predeceased by: her parents, Tunis Bras and Agnes Bras (Zevenbergen); her husband Melvin Brouwer; her siblings, Lloyd Bras, Raymond Bras (Mary), Verla (Gerald Elgersma), Gertrude (Edward Bouw), Nellie (Joubert Wassenaar) and John (Nellie Brouwer); John and Tracy Brouwer (Koopmans).
She is survived by: her children, Judy (Gordon Hemping) and Steve (Carol Brouwer); her grandchildren, Steven (Corinne) of Le Mars and Kristin Brouwer of Orange City; Jeremy and Caleb Brouwer.
Memorials will be given to Sioux Center Health Hospice and Home Care.
