He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Haarsma and Tryntje "Tena" Haarsma; his wife Myrna Mae Gebauer; his grandson Jamie Morton; and his siblings, Henry Wielenga (Shirley), Enno Wielenga, Donald Wielenga, Lawrence Wielenga (Janet), Marie (George Kuik), Bernyce (Alfred Wassenaar), Kathleen (Peter Van Wyk) and Lois (Fred DeBeer).
He is survived by: his children, Michael (Muriel Wielenga), Kevin (Dixie Wielenga), Laura (Pete Schuelke) and Mary Wielenga-Cline (Mike Cline); his daughter-in-law Delores; his son Henry Kramer; and his sisters-in-law, Margaret Wielenga and Janice Wielenga. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; one sister.
