She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. Oort and Anna Van Oort (Top); her husband Earl Benjamin Vaas; her daughter Anita Hofland; her children-in-law, Harriet, Marion Andringa, Carol and Leroy Bras; and her siblings, Donald (Winifred Vaas) and Lillian (Robert De Jong).
She is survived by: her son Brent (Glenda Vaas) of Hull; her son-in-law Charles "Chuck" Hofland of Hospers; her grandchildren, Ethan (Leslie Vaas), Anna (Justin Beukelman), Angela (Nathan Pellow), Wade (Joslyn Hofland) and Brandon (Sarah Hofland); and her sister Hendrine Gutcher of Casa Grande, Arizona.. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson.
Memorials will be given to the Prairie Ridge Care Center.
