She was predeceased by : her parents, Leland Duff and Clara Duff (Purdy); her husband Lewis McClain; her daughter Linda Patterson; her sister Phyllis Frederick (Chuck); her parents-in-law, Nellie and Everett McClain; her sister Helen; and her brother-in-law Warren Ross.

She is survived by : her children, LouAnn McClain of Des Moines and Steven McClain (Kim) of Austin, Texas; her son-in-law Phillip Patterson (Amy) of Orient; her grandson Clinton Patterson (Crystal); her great grandchildren, Ella, Zeke, Drake and Cece; her granddaughter Sarah Jannings (Nick); her great grandchildren, Ethan and Avery; her grandson Tyler Patterson (Teresa); her great grandchildren, Brynnley, Joel, Allie and Dylan McClain; her brother-in-law Larry McClain (Amber); and her stepsiblings, Doyle Jensen (Carla), Darrell Jensen (Peggy), Denny Jensen (Susan), John Jensen (Cindy) and Loretta Lauer (Dean). She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
