He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Dale, Louise Sloth, Maurice Counsell, Gene and JoAnn Squier.
He is survived by: his parents, Don Counsell and Shelly Counsell (Sloth) of Osage; and his brother Derek Counsell (Callie) of Colfax, Iowa. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Champion Chapel (702 State St, Osage, IA 50461). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the American Legion (504 Main St, Osage, IA 50461).
