He was predeceased by : his parents, Alfred Victor and Viola Edith Torgerson (Helgeland); his sisters, Barbara and Margaret; his son Trent; and his granddaughter Thea Terhune (Torgerson).

He is survived by : his children, Tracy and Tamara; his grandsons, Jens, Jess and Josh (Fowler); and his great grandchildren, Trent, Jess Dean, Kye, Lucy and Olivia.
