She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Selvig and Elnora Selvig; and her siblings, Eileen Ehlke and Robert Selvig. She is survived by: her husband Wayne Smolik; her children, Donette Van Hoever (Lee), Darlene Wagner (Chris) and Erik Smolik; her grandchildren, Sydney, Emma, Hayden and Oscar; and her sister Dawn Lackore.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Savior's Lutheran Church (833 Ash St, Osage, IA 50461). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Elaine's memory may be made to the North Iowa Humane Society.
