He is survived by: his daughters, Debra Williamson (Mike Wihlm), Cynthia Funk (Spencer), Sharon Steele (Dan) and Pamela Berg (Peter); his grandchildren, Tera Schenker (Malcolm), Tyrel Williamson (Briana), Levi Funk (Amanda), Chet Funk (Nicole), Tayler Steele, Johann Steele (Rachael), Kolby Berg (Jenna) and Kendra Plendl (Seth); his daughter Bonnie Hoier (Styles); his sister Connie Buus; and his sisters-in-law, Faye Morhing and Blythe Gienau. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Grace Lutheran Church (726 State St, Osage, IA 50461).
