He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde W. and Mary E. Sadler (Lehman); his siblings, Thomas Sadler (Ada), Evelyn Umberger (Wayne), Mabel Sadler and Marion Sadler; and his granddaughters, Janice Shirk and Katie Mae Sadler.
He is survived by: his wife Grace Sadler; his children, Nancy Shirk (Adam) of Martville, Paul Sadler (Esther Mae) of Curtis, James Sadler (Gena) of Alcester and Andrew Sadler (Monica) of Orchard, Iowa; and his siblings, Mark Sadler (Grace) of Richland, Pennsylvania, Ruth Martin (Norman) of Myerstown, Martha Sadler of Myerstown, Reeda Sadler of Myerstown and Marie Sadler of Myerstown, Pennsylvania.. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the New Haven Mennonite Community Center (3000 360th St, Osage, IA 50461). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the South Osage Mennonite Church (2197 340 St, Osage, IA 50461).
