He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Hagelund and Iva Hagelund (Barton); and his brothers, Ronald and Arnold Hagelund. He is survived by: his wife Rosella Hagelund (Rohde) of St. Ansgar; his children, Christine Hagelund of Osage and James Hagelund of Kenosha, Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Matthew Hagelund of Minnesota and Corvus Collins of Kenosha, Wisconsin; and his siblings-in-law, Sharon Hagelund of Minot, ND and Duane Rohde of Maplewood, Minnesota. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
