He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Betts and Esther Betts; his parents-in-law, Thomas and Darlene Foth; his sisters, Donna Rissler-Downs and Dorothy; his brother-in-law Ray Tollman; his brothers, Carl (Lou Betts), Ralph (Margaret Betts) and Richard (Marilyn Betts); and his nephew Luke Betts.
He is survived by: his wife Chris; his daughters, Kim Comisky (James) of Cedar Rapids and Stacy Evans (Tim) of Osage, Iowa; and his granddaughters, Rebecca Farrell (Josh), Amanda Pitts (Dillon) and Jessica Meier. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (218 S 12th St, Osage, IA 50461). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In Lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established for Ron Betts by his family.
