With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Wilde of Osage, Iowa, born in Mason City, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 18, 2025 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin Wilde; her parent Laura Riehm; her sister Beverly Levenhagen; her in-laws, Roy and Rose Wilde; her brothers, Glenn Riehm (Bev) and Robert Riehm; and her brothers-in-law, Elwin Levenhagen, Bill Harrington and Gene Kuntz.
She is survived by: her children, David Wilde (Rochelle) of Osage, Laurie Smolik (Steve) of Osage, Mike Wilde (Lori) of Osage, Kristy Helfter (Tony) of Elma, Kelly Krause (Jeff) of Mason City, Wendy Niess (Rob) of Osage, Stacy Anderson (Kelly) of Osage and Kori Havel (Troy) of Osage; her grandchildren, Amber Wilde (Anthony Oldfather), Morgan Baldwin (Kyle), Dakota Wilde, Stephanie Pollard (Marcus), Adam, Kiel, Ellen Helfter, Jamie Huisman (Laura), Brandon Huisman (Kristen), Cody Stoneman, Ashley Betts (Tanner), Zachary Anderson, Tyler (Ali), Collin (Taylor), Kelsey (Cris Marx) and Nathan Havel (Lauren Voaklander); her great grandchildren, Harper Baldwin, Abigail Baldwin, Marcus Jr., Logan Pollard, Violet, Lilly Helfter, Bennett, Clarie, Emma Richardson, Trystin, Landon, Hudson, Hayden Huisman, Brecken Huisman (Clara), Olivia, Trace, Harper Huisman, Paisley, Brixley Betts, Kayden, Owen, Hendrix and Jolie Havel; her sisters, Marilyn Harrington of Mason City, Barbara DeKruif (Bill) of Garner and Marlys Thurnau (Aaron) of St. Ansgar; and her sisters-in-law, Arliene Kuntz of St. Ansgar and Rosemary Wilde of Mason City.
