She was predeceased by: her parents, Andy Everett Johnson and Velma Johnson (Tripp); her husband Jerry; her siblings, Paul (Anne Johnson), Donovan (Deon Johnson) and Ruth Janezich; and her close friend Vicky Mateer.
She is survived by: her son Jay Benedict Brown; her nephew Rhett Johnson (Kelli); and her sister Helen Nebel.
