It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Bert Grose of Osceola, Iowa, born in Creston, Iowa, who passed away on April 25, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Clifford Grose and Mary Grose (Glick) of Tennessee; and his sister-in-law Nancy Grose. He is survived by: his children, Angela Kolesari (Gabe) of Elkhart, IA, David Grose (Jennie) of Winterset, IA and Jennifer Grose of Norwalk, IA; his grandchildren, Matthew Kolesari (Megan) of Washington, Kenzie Kolesari of Wisconsin, Caleb Grose (Beth) of Grimes, IA, Elysabeth Johnson (Dexter) of Winterset, IA and Abigail Grose of Norwalk, IA; his great grandchildren, Tommy Kolesari, Crew Johnson and Juniper Johnson; the mother of his children Cheryl Thomas of Winterset, IA; and his brother Gary Clifford Grose of Kellerton, IA. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kale Funeral Home - Osceola (301 S Main St, Osceola, IA 50213). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
