He is survived by: his children, Cindy McCarl and Doyle McCarl; his siblings, Dorothy "Dot", Norma "Jean", Elizabeth "Lizzie", Donald "Bud" and Perry; his great grandchild Kellan Starret; his children, Crystal Nelson (Jeff) of Goldfield, IA, Autumn Parmer (Matt) of Truro, IA, Kelly Moberly (Mark) of Webster City, IA and Mitchell McCarl (Donna) of Ankeny, IA; his daughter-in-law Julie McCarl; and his sisters, Ginnie Hargis (Ron McBroom) of Winterset, Pat Cook (Jim) of Murray, IA, Georgia Garwick (Jan) of Vancouver, WA and Sue Hamilton (Mark) of Murray, IA. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren.
