She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Kindred and Faye Kindred (Hagan); her husband Orval McDowell; her great grandchild Jeffrey Orval (Davis); her siblings, Ronal Kindred and Reva; her brother-in-law Edward Beers; her brother Gale; her sister-in-law Donna Kindred; and her in-laws, Vivian McDowell, Ray, Lavern McDowell, Bob McDowell, Con, Cecilia McDowell, Colleen, Sam West, Gary and Joyce McDowell.
She is survived by: her children, Rick McDowell of Osceola, IA, Ronda Harrison (Dan) of Chariton, IA and Ronal McDowell (Karen) of Sheridan, WY; her grandchildren, Jennifer Keefer (Scott) of Gladstone, MO, Tonille Burrows (Scott) of Murfreesboro, TN, Rachelle Davis (Jeremy) of Indianola, IA, Kyle McDowell (Cassandra) of Nashville, TN, Kasey McDowell of Grimes, IA and Reed McDowell of Sheridan, WY; her great grandchildren, Elaven, Gaven Burrows of Murfreesboro, TN, Daniel, William, Rosslyn Davis of Indianola, IA, Sophia McDowell of Nashville, TN and Kade McDowell of Grimes, IA; her stepgrandson Kenny Harrison (Lauren); her children, Brynn, Augustus, Luke and Kyle Harrison (Melody); her grandchildren, Delaney, Grant and Garrett Cone (McKenna); her children, Maverick, Beckham and Kaylee Cone; her stepgreat-grandchild Kaylee Keefer-Churchill (Colt); and her siblings-in-law, Joyce McDowell (Bob), Darwin McDowell (Durine) and Cindy Vandel (Roger). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Kale Funeral Home - Osceola (301 S Main St, Osceola, IA 50213). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Maple Hill Cemetery (1122 S Ridge Rd, Osceola, IA 50213).
