He is survived by: his wife Sarah Hettinger; his sister Mary Patricia Bush; his former wives, Martha Hettinger (McCurnin) and Denise Graettinger (Brian Graettinger); his grandchildren, Adam Graettinger, Aryn Graettinger and Ryan Voss (Molly Voss); his great grandchildren, Emily and Olivia; his grandchildren, Brandon Voss (Emme Voss), Nicholas Steinmetz (Grace Steinmetz), Tyler Steinmetz (Amy Barto) and Grace Hettinger; his stepdaughters, Maria Dozauer and Tina Dozauer; and his stepgrandchildren, Toby and Max Ray.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Conservation Education Building at East Lake Park (2451 US-34, Osceola, IA 50213).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to his family for a fitting tribute to be decided at a future date.
