With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Samuel Wayne Walters of Osceola, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 29, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles William and Elvina Gertrude Walters (Garvin); his wife Mildred Theresa Walters; and his siblings, Pearl Walters, Blanche Huffman, Earl Walters, Lucille Heldenbrand and Junior Walters.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Miller (Ed) of Ottumwa, IA, Charlie Walters (Mona) of New Virginia, IA and Matt Walters (Dorenda) of DeSoto, IA; his grandson Eric Miller (Anna) of Oskaloosa, IA; his children, Casey Walters (Jennifer) of Redfield, IA and Clayton Walters (Monica) of Cedar Falls, IA; his great grandchildren, Julian Miller, Levi Grace Walters, Cora Walters, Jace Walters and Owen Walters; his sister Mary Ann Anderson (Carl) of Altoona, IA; and his sister-in-law Grace Reed of Van Meter, IA. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends.
