We bid farewell to Doretha Hasselman of Oskaloosa, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 24, 2025 at the age of 94. Doretha touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her mother Anna Klyn DeBruin; her husband Homer Hasselman; her son Dennis Hasselman; and her brothers, Larry DeBruin, Paul DeBruin and Ralph DeBruin.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Burkhardt (David) of Charles City, Dean Hasselman (Pat) of Renton and Douglas Hasselman (Leann) of Oskaloosa; her daughter-in-law Ann Hasselman of Ottumwa; and her grandchildren, Katelyn Clark (Matthew), Tyler Hasselman (Kailey), Denise Stout (Brian), Ann Ackerman (Bryan), John Burkhart (Sasha), Kelly Goudy, Kurt Moore (Jacque) and Kyle Moore.
