He is survived by: his wife Janet Gayle Chestelson; his children, Todd Halverson of Oskaloosa and Ann Strawn (Jim) of Clive; his grandchildren, Emily and Sam of Clive; his brothers, Charles Halverson (Rose) of Monroe, Georgia and Steve Halverson (Phyllis Martin) of Stayton, Oregon; his brother-in-law Carl Chestelson (Jean) of California; his nephew Kent Halverson (Andrea); and his niece Sheri Hoskins (Dennis).
