He was predeceased by: his parent Ethel Mae Boyd; and his wife Linda Lindberg. He is survived by: his children, Kenny Boyd (Melba) of Florida, Bill Boyd (Karen) of Kellogg, Brenda Jordan of Oskaloosa, Karen Heartley (Steve) of Centerville and David Boyd of Oskaloosa. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and seventeen great grandchildren.
