It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jayne Almon of Oskaloosa, Iowa, who passed away on October 21, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Jayne may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francise Hoover and Maxine Parks Hoover; and her brother Jeff Hoover. She is survived by: her husband Guy Almon of Oskaloosa; and her sisters, Joyce White (Bruce) of Oskaloosa and Jan McKay (Cyril) of Fremont.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gateway Church of the Nazarene (140 Gateway Dr, Oskaloosa, IA 52577). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
