He is survived by: his wife Susan Peck of Oskaloosa; his son David John (Michelle) of Knoxville; his grandchildren, Cissa Dahm-Howard (Laura) and Joshua Doty; his stepgrandsons, Chris Van Leeuwen (Julia) and Shawn Van Leeuwen (Kaela); his stepgreat-grandson Logan; and his brothers, Clyde Doty Jr. (Nancy) and Donald Doty (Bonnie).
