Loretta Ruth Caves Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Loretta Ruth Caves of Oskaloosa, Iowa, who passed away on July 14, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Walter DeWitt and Ruth DeWitt (Vail) of Lacey; her husband Richard Norris Caves; her sister-in-law Joan Faulkner; her children, Gloria Ruth Stam (Caves), Steven Norris Caves, Judy, Cindy Louise Johnston (Caves) and Paul; her sister-in-law Pat DeWitt; her brothers, Kenneth DeWitt, Norval (Joan DeWitt) and Gerald (Norma DeWitt); and her siblings-in-law, Jack Caves and Elsie Caves.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gateway Church of the Nazarene (140 Gateway Dr, Oskaloosa, IA 52577). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
