He was predeceased by : his parents, Anthony Leo and Eva Marie Christoph Feist; and his siblings, Linus, Anthony, Fritz, Sam Feist, Elva Rose Feist and Marilee Huslig.

He is survived by : his wife Nancy Atkinson of Oskaloosa; his family, Jennifer Vander Linden (Max) of Wellsville, David Feist (Branden) of Davenport, Bob Feist (Lori Tafta) of Oskaloosa, Theresa Grahek (John) of Sherman, Paul Feist (DeDe) of Troy and Sarah Hansen (Allen) of St. Louis; his siblings, Richard Feist (Louetta) of Claflin, Lawrence Feist of Denver, Martin Feist (Patricia) of Austin, Minnesota and Catherine Doll of Ingels, KS; and his sisters-in-law, Kate Feist of Ellinwood, KS. and Kay Feist of Arkansas City, KS.. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren.
