It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ralph Sprunk of Oskaloosa, Iowa, born in Devils Lake, North Dakota, who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Ralph Sprunk and Elizabeth Sprunk; his former life partner Vera Warner; and his siblings, Fred Sprunk, Ronald Sprunk and Rose Ann Garland.

He is survived by : his son Timothy; his wife Loretta Sprunk of Pella; his grandchildren, Ryan Sprunk (Crystal) and Morgan Van Zante (Michael); his great grandchildren, Dylan, Alex, Kinsley and Haven; his sisters, Mary Lou Cappeton, Mary Georgiana and Jane Jacobson; and his brothers-in-law, Rev. Luther Bergeland and George Garland.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gateway Church of the Nazarene (140 Gateway Dr, Oskaloosa, IA 52577). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the University Park Cemetery Universtiy Park.
