She was predeceased by: her parents, John Veldhuizen and Hattie Veldhuizen (Schemper); her husband William "Bill" Bousema; and her son-in-law David Pegg. She is survived by: her children, Jacqueline Pegg of Palm Desert, Bill Bousema (Bonnie) of Newport Beach, Allen Bousema (Cindy) of Sanborn and Kevin Bousema (Lauri) of Omaha, Nebraska; and her siblings-in-law, Marie Bousema of Worthington, Greta Bomgaars of Bellflower, Marlene Bousema of Artesia, Carol Bousema of Sheldon, Iowa and Carl Rossi of Clinton, UT.. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Christian Reformed Church (208 N Western Ave, Sanborn, IA 51248). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at the Roseland Cemetery (5621 320th St, Sanborn, IA 51248).
