He is survived by: his wife Bettie; his daughters, Jodie Schimke (Anne) and Laura Mickels; his son-in-law Denny O'Leary; his grandchildren, Ashlie Sweeting (Dan), Tara Showman (Colton), Micayla Flemming (Daniel), Brayden Wald (Kyla), Kaidyn Mickels, Morgan Pettyjohn (Brandt Robinson), Awstin Pettyjohn, Shelbie Pettyjohn, Brinden O'Leary and Taryn O'Leary; his pets, Whitney and Dora; his siblings, Barb Pfannkuche (Craig), Nancy Brendlinger (David Sears) and George Brendlinger (Luanne); and his brother-in-law Richard Thomas. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
