He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Thompson and Beaulah Thompson (Wiegert); his siblings, Kay Dollar, Lorraine Renewanz, James Thompson, Barry Thompson, Verle Thompson and Carlie "Chip" Thompson; and his sister-in-law Cindy Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Vicki Thompson of Otho; his children, Jeffrey "Jeff" Thompson of Fort Dodge and Dawn Bliss (Brad) of Kuwait; his brother Kenneth Thompson (Linda) of Persia, IA; and his sister-in-law Gayle Thompson of Des Moines.
