He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Palar and Alice Palar (Gutteriez); and his father-in-law Gary Heitzman. He is survived by: his significant other Brenda Heitzman; his children, Adam Heitzman (Tiffany Tanner) of Omaha, NE, Jeff Heitzman (Stephanie Jensen) of Sioux City, IA, David Templeton of Oto, IA, Brianna Templeton (Jenna Govern) of Ringsted, IA and Lariya Templeton of Cedar Rapids, IA; his grandchildren, Emma, Madison Heitzman, Kaden Heitzman, Ciara Heitzman, Ryleigh Heitzman, Casyn Jensen, Shaylee Jensen, Jalyn Jensen and Garik Jensen; his great grandchildren, Kolter Heitzman, Kenneth and Hudson Erickson; his siblings, Steve Palar of Texas and Veronica Palar-Taylor of California; and his mother-in-law Gloria Heitzman of Thurston, NE. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
