He was predeceased by: his father Paul Briggs; his son Logan Briggs; his grandparents, Max, Ruth Briggs, Samuel Peterson and Dorothy Boyd; and his uncles, Willis Garret, Richard Briggs, Robert Briggs, Tom Briggs and Dennis Peterson.
He is survived by: his mother Debbie Briggs (Jeff) of Memphis, MO.; his wife April Briggs; his daughters, Faith LaPere (Cody) of Lakeview, OR, Gracie Briggs of Cleveland, TN, Chiersten Briggs of Agency, IA and Lucy Briggs of Agency, IA; and his siblings, Billy Watkins (Thais) of Columbia, MO, Renee McBee (Josh) of Memphis, MO and Jennifer Gooden (Ryan) of Memphis, MO. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews, and lots of good friends.
A reception will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Payne Funeral Chapel (202 E Madison St, Memphis, MO 63555).
