He was predeceased by: his parents, George Harry and Verla May Denniston (Dixon); his close friend Linda Arterburn; his siblings, Richard Eakins, Jerry, William, Ronald Denniston, Lorraine Stevens and Jean Goetz; his grandchildren, Madison Akerman and Dustin Yeoman; and his brother-in-law Jerry Eklofe.
He is survived by: his former spouses, Gail Granneman and Debra Jordan; his children, Scott Denniston (Kathy) of Phoenix, AZ, DeAnna Heronomus of Fort Worth, TX, Donald Conder (Sarah) of Ottumwa and Frances Denniston of Ottumwa; his grandchildren, Sierra Yeoman, Zachary, Devon, Aaron, Hannah, Erica Conder and Noah Denniston; his sisters, Sharon (Bob Parcell), Rebecca Eklofe of Ottumwa and Tina (Charlie Padgett); his sisters-in-law, Nancy Denniston of Ottumwa and Linda Denniston of Sparks, NV; and also, Bernadette Garza of Chicago, IL, Brianna Porter Arterburn of Keosauqua, Bradley Arterburn of Coralville, Olivia and Lucas Porter.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Old White Cemetery.
