She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Dale and Marilyn Lucille Aylor Ridgeway; and her sister Tammy Jo Ridgeway. She is survived by: her children, Jenni McClure (Tyler) of Bloomfield and Jerid Grim (Taylor) of Bloomfield; her grandchildren, Asher McClure, Jalyn McClure, Harley Grim and Tucker Grim; her siblings, Nancy Davis of Keosauqua, Iowa, Sandy Cronk of Keosauqua, Iowa and Jerry Ridgeway of Bloomfield; and her boyfriend Tony Rupe of Ottumwa.

A memorial has been established to the Heartland Humane Society in Ottumwa.
