He is survived by: his mother Ina Simpson (DeHeer); his wife Danyale Simpson (Van Vark); his children, Heidi Liventals (Chad), Joe Simpson (Mendy) and Jordan Simpson; his grandchildren, Ray, Conlan, Ethan, Nora and Emery; and his siblings, Steve Simpson, Terrie Simpson, Sherrie Mouw (Tom), Anita Simpson (Martin Eveleth) and Lorri Hazelton (Brian). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
