With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leila George-Scharff in Ottumwa, Iowa, who passed away on September 24, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Itata G. George (Raffensperger) and Paul L. George; her husband Ed Scharff; her brother Norman George (Nicki) of Alberta Canada; her daughter Kenzie George; her cousin Eddie; her stepdaughters, Colleen Krogman (Matt) and Angela Scharff; her grandchildren, Macie, Malena Krogman and Cody Willey; Arnold Webster.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Peterson Funeral Home (602 E Salem Ave, Indianola, IA 50125). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
