She was predeceased by : her parents, Leonard Chavez and Phoebe Chavez (Kilgore); her husband Patrick A. North; her daughter Mary; and her son-in-law Sunil Bisnath.

She is survived by : her children, Leonard North (Norma) of Toluca and Patricia North of Ottumwa, IA; her grandchildren, Patrick, Leonard Jr., Joshua, Zachary, Jeremy, Kristi, Heather, Tiffany, Pradley, Johnny, Stephanie, Melissa and Nicole; and her brother Charles Rouqe Chavez. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren, a great-great grandchild.
