He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert William Barber and Valda B. Barber (Moore); his wife Donna Mae Barber (Benhart); his sisters, Norma Lou Brodersen and Peggy Hungerford; and his great grandchild Keiven Barber.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Koranda (Tom) of Bellevue and Steve Barber (Kathy) of Oxford Junction; his grandchildren, Brock Barber (Stacey), Danielle Barber, Derek Barber (McKenzie) and Drew Koranda (Erica); and his great grandchildren, Griffin, Gentry, Willa, Cora Barber, Zayn and Sage Koranda.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 9:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Oxford Junction United Methodist Church (222 N 2nd St, Oxford Junction, IA 52323).
